Pasta with Pumpkin and Sausage
Ingredients

- 1 lb Sweet italian sausage, bulk

- 1 Bay leaf, fresh or dried
- 4 cloves Garlic, cracked and chopped
- 1 Golden delicious apple, small
- 1 Onion, medium
- 1 cup Pumpkin, canned
- 1/4 Red onion, small
- 4 sprigs Sage, leaves
- 1 Spinach salad with apple and red onion
- 1 lb Triple-washed spinach
Condiments
- 1 tsp Grain mustard
- 1 tbsp Honey
Pasta & grains
- 1 lb Penne rigate
Baking & spices
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg, ground ground or freshly grated
- 2 Salt and black pepper, Coarse
Oils & vinegars
- 1 tbsp Olive oil, extra-virgin
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
Bread & baked goods
- 1 Pumpernickel or whole grain bread
Beer, wine & spirits
- 1 cup White wine, dry
Tools & equipment
- 1 cup Chicken stock, canned or paper container
Other
- 1/2 cup (3 turns around the pan) heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons (a couple of splashes) apple cider vinegar
- Romano or Parmigiano, for grating
